Steel Door Security Level 4
Warrington Door Specialists can install single and double security doors to protect low to medium risk properties from opportunist attempts at forced entry using a range of heavy hand tools. The doors are third party tested by Scientifics in accordance with the manual intervention or attempted burglary requirements to the LPS 1175 Standard and achieved a level 4 rating, offering you guaranteed peace of mind.
Construction
Using the latest computer controlled production facilities we are able to manufacture secure and reliable security doors that are aesthetic in appearance.
The doors are manufactured from corrosion resistant zintec sheets and are manufactured using a weld free construction, the attack resistant leaf consists of a solid timber core, additional stainless steel anti attack skin encapsulated in a 1.5mm thick steel door blade. The overall door blade is 50mm thick with a total steel armour thickness of 4.5mm.
Factory applied paint finish, polyester powder coat finŽish, plain solid coloured PVC laminates, patterned PVC laminates and hand applied paint effects can be used to colour our doorsets to fit in with your design criteria
We at WDS do not compromise where your security is concerned. We use a Nemef 3 point Sashlock on personnel access doors and Surelock McGill or Exidor High Security panic furniture for Means of Escape applications.
Application & Testing
The doors have been tested to the Manual Intervention requirements of the LPS 1175 Standard and achieve an SR 4 rating. It can be seen from the application table opposite that the doors are suitable for High to MeŽdium risk commercial applications and resist professional attack with a variety of hand and battery power tools (including a 3 felling axe) for upto 30 minutes.
